What Just Happened

Today I had a conversation with a man that I truly respect.  He said, “some people make things happen; some people watch things happen; and other people wonder what just happened.”  It’s really a profound statement.

So I looked at it through the lens of coaching.  Some people want to make things happen but can get stuck.  A coach can walk with the person to clear the obstacles that are getting in the way.

Sometimes, watching things happen is not all bad.  Taking a breath, stepping back and asking how one is being with a situation or exploring the relationship the person is in can lead to powerful progression.

Some of those “what just happened” moments can also be some of life’s best teachers.   Being open to experiencing the unbelievable leads to life change.

Working with a coach is a powerful way to experience all of these.
